One Dimensional Man - 1000 Doses of Love (2000)

Having recently happened to see them live, I could appreciate the qualities of the Venetians in order tangible, a compact and power-trio has Capovilla fierce roaring and incisive singer. So here's an opportunity to give them a chance to study after that years ago I listened to their records without a girlfriend that I would remain a pity to have changed virtually nothing about.
In the first half of the '90s, in Italy there was quite a handful Carbonaro of bands that had assimilated the American noise-rock and try to run their own version, with no results worthy of success and duration. Only a couple of these have survived; the Uzeda (but doing a disk every 10 years) and Larsen (who have admirably reinvented). Curiously
the ODM were born in 1996, then part of a hypothetical second generazioncina, but finally remained the most consistent and durable, with nearly 10 years of militancy, of course excluding the current reunion tour. Not that this is an objective merit; disk have always paid a debt for inspiring awesome Jesus Lizard (you could also mention the recent Cop Shoot Cop) without having neither spectacular nor the technical skills amazing.
So, noise-blues butchers without much imagination, only for close scholars of the genre. Better to see them live. Better
Theatre.
